MORSON
Located on the south end of Lake of the Woods , the waters around Morson are riddled with islands and reefs making this part of the lake ideal habitat for walleye and bass . Morson also harbors some of the lake ’ s biggest predators including many recorded catches of 45 plus inch muskie and 40 plus inch pike . The many islands means you can always find a good place out of the wind to fish .
Morson is a very small community , with local hospitality second
to none and has some interesting attractions such as Tomahawk Lighthouse and in some spots on the lake , pictographs . Morson is also close to the border giving you quick access to the great fishing Sunset Country offers . There is one houseboat rental operation which , if you ’ ve never done before , is a definite “ bucket list ” trip .
