Three remote wilderness parks and over a dozen other
provincial parks rest in Sunset Country. With over 2,000
kilometres of paddling routes and 12,000 motor-less lakes in
Wabakimi Provincial Park alone, there is enough adventure
here to last a lifetime.
Half the fun is getting to these remote parks, Wabakimi Pro-
vincial Park can be accessed by plane or even train, Wood-
land Caribou Provincial Park is strictly fly-in or water access.

Quetico Provincial Park is a world renowned paddling Mecca,
it’s 1.14 million acres of remote wilderness is known to paddlers
around the planet.
Other provincial parks in Sunset Country offer drive-in camping,
backcountry, water accessible sites. With many amenities
such as canoe and kayak rentals, even water bikes, visitors can
explore these parks however they please. Don’t forget to bring
a waterproof bag for your camera, you’ll be needing it.
