From a very young age Colin has faced many harsh, unforgiving and persistent challenges in his life. At 5 he was diagnosed
with a disease which caused his knee to fuse inexplicably. His parents continued to encourage him to stay active and
participate in sports. In his 20’s he was further diagnosed with 2 separate autoimmune diseases –one causing his joints to
fuse and one causing irreparable liver damage. He was given a prognosis of 1-3 yrs to live. Through the power of faith as
well as developing a more healthy lifestyle, Colin miraculously managed to reverse the liver damage and maintain its function.
To celebrate God’s goodness, Colin and his wife decided to challenge themselves with a fitness competition. In the words of
his wife “ Colin is relentless and will never give up”.
