a balanced, consistent, “no drama” horse! Her talent never ceases to amaze me, with a work ethic that’s second to none. Send us your best shots for a chance to see your photos in the Miniature Horse World or on the AMHA website and win some GREAT PRIZES too! I have so much love and passion for the Miniature horse. I’m competitive by nature, and while winning titles is great, at the end of the day, it’s the connection I have with my horses that bring the most satisfaction. None of my success would be possible without my mom’s willingness to be “barn manager” when I am at college, and I can’t thank her enough as I always know the horses are getting huge amounts of TLC. Kudos to my dad as well for supporting this crazy hobby that I never seemed to grow out of! Also, I’m grateful to Kim Sweatt for her help and support all year long; without “Coach K” things would not be the same. Reminiscing about all my years competing in AMHA, I have spectacular memories. I’ve made wonderful friends and participated in many fun/wild shenanigans at different shows. It’s also been a great learning experience as I continue to discover how to present my horses to the best of our combined abilities. I want to encourage and inspire more people to set their sights on competing for the title of Super Amateur, at both the Regional Championships and World Show. My heartfelt thanks to the AMHA for offering this awesome award to amateur exhibitors, and to Lonnie Perdue LIT& W4 Ranch for their sponsorship of this year’s Super Ammy. There are so many wonderful people in this industry; have a great holiday season, everyone and I look forward to seeing my horse show family again in 2019!
