100 Hours - Maxies Rancho New Hope and Catherine Albert
Most of my 100 hours with New Hope were spent feeding , grooming , and just general care . We were able to attend a couple of shows and we drove in our local Christmas Parade . In the next 500 hours I hope to be able to work up to showing again this year with her as well as doing fun activities with our 4-H Horse Project Group , where I am a volunteer leader , to promote the Miniature Horse breed .
100 Hours - Rocking M 3T Making A Motion and Catherine Albert
Mac and I worked a lot on showmanship during these 100 hours as well as my general work just taking care of him . He was also used as a lesson horse to help teach a 4-Her how to do showmanship and attend her first 4-H show . During the next 500 hours I hope to get him back into driving shape and possibly attend a few shows . I would also like to use him to teach other 4-Hers and youth how to do showmanship .
100 Hours - Lyncliffs Major Difference and Catherine Albert
Most of the 100 hours with Major were taken up by grooming and feeding . I did use Major for an American Heritage Girls Clinic where they learned to groom and lead a horse . I have used him to teach my other students how to catch , groom , and lead horses as well as how to do in hand jumping . In the next 500 hours I hope to use him for more lessons and get him in shape for showing and driving . He will also be used as a project horse for one of my students to learn how to teach and practice showmanship and halter with Minis .
