2018 Annual Breakfast Kickoff
God promises us that through a healthy relationship
with the scriptures, He will do four things:
1. He will teach us what to believe about his character,
power, plans, and purposes
2. His reproof will bring any darkness within us to light
so we can walk in freedom
3. Through his Word, He will correct, or make straight,
that which has been broken in our lives.
4. He will train, and instruct us, as our Heavenly Father
in the same way he instructed Christ Jesus.
So how will you seek the Word of God for your daily life
in 2018? How will you apply the Word of God in your life
this year? Take heart in this, my brother: you don’t have to
do it alone...
We are Men of the Word.
Together, we are becoming a living message of the good
news of Christ-like manhood to the world.
Together, we will learn from and apply God’s Word.
Together, will encourage one another to keep our
promises, even when it hurts.
Together we will hold to the promises of God through
prayer and brotherhood, expecting God to move.
We are united in Christ so that iron can sharpen iron,
so we can share one another’s burdens and help each
other to get ahead. So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
(Isaiah 55:11 NKJV)
God has already sent out his Word into us and among
us. And He has promised: We can trust and practice God’s Word because he
promised to complete the work he started in us.
