What If Was Here
2014-18, 18 Trigger Images
Installation in the Alcove (Back of the KIAC Ballroom) Open between screenings
Originally a multiple site specific installation work across the City of Hamilton,
Ontario, this interactive experimental documentary engages participants as an
augmented reality experience through a projection based installation. Public
spaces are critically examined as contested spaces, questioning our assumptions
of community by revealing simultaneous but incompatible visions of use.
Environmental priorities, the violence of civic politics and anti-individualism are
among themes explored in this work.
This series of photographs and accompanying text act as trigger images to launch
multi-media experiences through the use of the free HP Reveal Augmented Reality
