On March 2, the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 2017 Annual Dinner.
This year, the dinner transitioned from the Denim and Diamonds theme to the Chamber
Awards Gala. In addition to the change in theme, three new awards were added: Large
Business Champion, Small Business Champion, and Non-Profit Champion. The Chamber
sought nominations for these awards and three finalists from each category were chosen by a
selection committee. Each of these nine finalists met with a professional video company.
