Definitions: Climbing – Any numerous rather strong-growing garden roses that produce long flexible canes by which they cling to and scramble over any available support. Floribunda – A cross of hybrid teas with polyantha roses. Flo- ribunda roses grow about 3 feet wide and 2-3 feet tall. Floribun- da, as the name implies, produces abundant clusters of flowers on its stems. Grandiflora – A bush rose derived from crosses of floribunda and hybrid tea roses and characterized by production of blooms both singly and in clusters on the same plant. Hybrid Tea – Grown from 3-7 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide. They have an upright, almost ramrod-straight growth habit. They have a single blossom on a long stem. Ground Cover – They share the characteristic of long spread- ing branches that spread and spills across the ground.
