PORGY AND BESS
Back by popular demand, Marin Alsop leads the BSO and
the Morgan State University Choir as well as vocal soloists in
a semi-staged production of Porgy and Bess. Featuring such
well-known hits as “Summertime” and “It Ain’t Necessarily
So,” Gershwin’s jazzy folk opera endures as an American
classic since its 1935 premiere.
