HISTORY, ARTS AND HERITAGE DAY
While visiting PGTV, students were given the opportunity to get both
behind and in front of the camera as they explored careers in the
creative arts industry.
They also had the opportunity to hear about careers in television news
from Bay News 9 journalists, Stephanie Claytor and Rick Elmhorst.

Students met many of “Polk County’s finest” during a trip to the Center
for Public Safety and Sheriff’s Department. They discussed career
opportunities with department representatives such as SWAT, K9 Unit,
and the Emergency Operations Center Call Center.
