2018 GSSNE FALL PRODUCT SALE PROGRAM
The 2018 GSSNE Fall
Product Sale Program
combines educational
activities along with
money earning
opportunities for troops.
When girls participate
in these programs, they
can earn proceeds for
troop activities and at
the same time build self-
confidence, learn strong
values and how to work
as a team.
This year’s theme is Speak Up, Lead the Way! The mascots
for this season are two adorable service dogs! Girls will
have the opportunity to do fun activities where they learn
about the importance of these incredible working dogs.
The 5 Skills:
Goal Setting: Girls set goals individually and with their
troop and then develop a plan to reach these goals. They
also learn to work together as a team.
Decision Making: Girls decide as a team how they will
spend their money, which allows for collaboration and
critical thinking.
During the sale, girls will be able to sell nuts and candies
in-person or online along with magazines, and some great
online-only items such as tumblers, organic veggies, and
decorative fall themed candles. Be sure to check out this
year’s Girl Scout collectible tin—a must-have for you and for
a special friend. Proceeds from these sales help troops with
their startup funds for the year. When family and friends
purchase these items, they support not only their favorite
Girl Scout, but they also are supporting the many programs,
events and services that are provided by GSSNE each year. Money Management: When girls process orders, they
learn how to handle customer’s money where they learn
important financial literacy skills.
The Fall Product Sale Program is a simple, fun introduction
to Girl Scout product sales! Programming for the Fall
Product Sale focuses on leadership, collaboration and
exploring personal values through discovering, connecting
and taking action to help girls explore their future
potential. Girls also develop skills in 5 key areas through
this program. Your customers can also help to support the council
Gift of Caring Program, where customers can designate
purchases be donated to local military serving overseas
through Operation Holiday Cheer. This is a great way that
your customers can support Girl Scouts and our military
service members serving abroad!
People Skills: Girls learn how to approach customers and
gain self confidence in public speaking when they make
their sales pitch!
Business Ethics: Girls learn how to be responsible and
honest throughout the Fall Sale Program. They learn to
use care in handling money and the importance of follow
through when delivering product.
