Come to the Leadership Center at
the GSSNE Office to Go for Gold!
No matter what stage you are at; if
you’re a brand new Senior, or a 12th
grade Ambassador, this is a great
opportunity to see what’s in store
for you if you start the Gold Award
journey! Did you know less than
5% of eligible Girl Scouts earn this
award? Why not head to this training
to discover how to become a part of
this elite group of women! Adults are
welcome to attend as well. Senior Girl Scouts have the
opportunity to earn their Legacy Art
Collage badge at this event! You’ll
talk about collage artists, create a
paper cubomania collage and use
decorative paper to collage a bottle
made uniquely by you! Facilitated
by Artiste Arts and Crafts. (Badge not
included.) Learn how to create some
empowering pieces of jewelry
from a local award-winning artist,
Gail Ahlers, in her studio at the
Empowerment Factory. Girls will get
to use jewelry-making tools to craft
personalized pieces of jewelry with
wire, recycled materials, gems, and
more. Learn about the history of
jewelry and get hands on experience
making your own jewelry as you
earn the Junior Jeweler Badge. The
badge activities and materials are
all included in the per girl price. The
badge itself is not included. Feel free
to bring a snack.

Let’s get down to business! The Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program is
the largest girl-run business in the entire world. It’s through the
Cookie Sale Program that Girl Scouts learn the skills to be the best
customer care teams in their communities! What’s the secret?
Designing the most perfect pitch ever to surprise, inspire, and
motivate their customers about their business. We will even shake
things up with fun activities like role-playing scenarios, learning
to think on the fly with the never-ending story game, designing
a commercial/advertisement to sell a business or product, and
more! The “Meet my Customer” badge and snack are included in
the price.
