Kauai Chocolate & Coffee Festival, October 19 -20th 2018 - The festival spans over two days
beginning on Friday morning with tours and workshops and then picks up again on Saturday morning
and continues on to highlight all the attributes of these two favorite local crops. The street festival
takes place in Historic Hanapepe Town and includes farm tours, informative classes, workshops/
demonstrations, live entertainment, a chocolate & coffee pampering station, a silent auction, keiki

Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival, November 21st 2018 - Top artists in the Hawaiian Slack Key
Guitar Genre performing for 6 solid hours in the beautiful ballroom of the Kauai Marriott Resort at
Kalapaki Beach, Lihue, Kauai. Festival will also feature local arts and crafts, snacks, soft drinks and
other favorite local foods. A minimum of 15 artists will perform as soloist, duos, or a complete band
showcasing the many different styles of slack key guitar from the traditional to the more contemporary.

Kauai Festival of Lights, December 1-29th 2018 - It's a Kauai-style Holiday Wonderland inside the
Historic County Building. This December marks the 22nd Anniversary of this glorious celebration
founded by artist Elizabeth Freeman in 1997. It showcases the beloved "Trash to Treasure" Folk Art
decorations of Auntie Josie Chansky and the gorgeous new "upcycled" creations designed by Elizabeth
and crafted by our talented teen volunteers! Open 6-8PM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

New Year's Eve Fireworks Celebration , December 31st 2018 - Grab your lawn chairs and blankets
and join us for the annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration at Poipu Beach Park. We will be
showing a FREE family-friendly movie, (TBA), on the big outdoor screen followed by a spectacular
fireworks show. Food trucks will be lined up to keep bellies happy. The Celebration will take place on
Monday, December 31st from 5 pm-8:30 pm. Fireworks will be launched at approximately 8:15pm.
