The Cougars Win First Round of Playoffs

The Burke Cougars hosted the first round of playoffs against the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders on October 18 with a 51-22 win.
Jaden Frank had 1 touchdown run, 1 touchdown receive, and 1 touchdown pass. Ludvid Sonderberg had 3 point after touchdown kicks, Brock Karbo had 1 touchdown run. Joseph Schonebaum had 11 tackles and 1 blocked punt.
"Offensively we had a good game. Defense and special teams we came out slow. But we fixed this at half time. Looking forward to more success," stated #10, Brock Karbo.
COUGAR FOOTBALL

The Burke Cougars traveled to Faulkton to take on Faulkton Area on October 25, falling short 36-15.
Brock Karbo had 1 touchdown pass and 1 touchdown run. Finn Hanson had one 2 point run. Joseph Schonebaum had 1 quarter back sack.
"Thought the kids played hard all season and I thought we improved as a team we have some big shoes to fill with are seniors graduating, but with a lot of experience with the underclassmen we expect to have a solid season next year," stated Head Coach, Mike Sebern.
