The Burke Cougar Football team hosted the Avon Pirates on September 28, with a 59-6 win.
Finn Hanson and Ben Witt led the score with 2 touchdown runs each.
"It was a fun game where all kids got to play. Which helps the development of all the team," stated Head Coach Mike Sebern.
The Burke Cougar Football Team traveled to Alcester on October 12, to take on the Cubs with a win of 30-14.
Finn Hanson led with 2 rushing touchdowns, 3 extra point touchdowns, 12 tackles, and 1 QB sack. Kaleb Wells had 11 tackles, and 2 tackles for loss. Joseph Schonebaum had 6 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 block punt.
"It was a good game to get are confidence up," stated #21, Finn Hanson.
