MS Cougars Travel to TDA For Triangular

The Burke Middle School Cougars traveled to Lake Andes on October 1. It was a triangular with TDA and AC/DC. The middle school team had 2 games. They first played AC/DC, and they tied the game with 14-14 as the ending score. The last game they played was against TDA, and the ending score was 20-14 with Burke coming out on top. They ended the day 1-1.

The middle school girls' basketball season is underway with 23 players on the teams from the 6th through 8th grade classes.
"The middle school girls this year have inspired me by exhibiting a true heartfelt desire and personal drive, blended with outstanding talent, making for great teams on the court. They work hard as a team and understand that the unity of this whole team in required to achieve success as we start the 2018 season", said head coach, Jim Moore.
