First Grade Full of Growing Minds!

So far the 1st graders have been working on blending sounds together to become better readers, adding up to 10, and taking spelling test! In science they have been learning about their senses. They have been doing a great job on all of these!
Second Grade Gets New ActivBoard

This year the second grade got a new ActivBoard in their classroom. They are using it all the time in their classroom for math, science, and reading. They use it for many other things and it is just like a big iPad for them!
Kindergarten Starts ABC Bootcamp

At the beginning of the school year the kindergarten crew started their ABC bootcamp, covering a new letter and sound each day. Each student had their own day where they would bring an object that starts with that sound, then everyday they make a hat to go with it.
The next Friday they will have an ABC Fashion show. Students will decorate vests and then will be able to walk the runway and sport their creation. They will then graduation from ABC Bootcamp.
