The Burke Cougars Traveled to Murdo to take on the Jones County Coyotes on December 21.
Cougars played two games against Jones County. JV won 50-33. Bryce Frank led the score with 19 points. Varsity lost 50-65. Brock Karbo led the game with 18 points.
The Burke Cougars hosted the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder on January 3, winning both games. The scores were: JV 43-39 and Varsity 58-52.
Leading the score for JV was Bryce Frank 15 points and Ben Witt 8 Points.
Leading the score for Varsity was Jaden Frank with 20 points and Tyson Mayer with 13 points.
The Burke Cougars host the Centerville Tornadoes in Bonesteel on January 4.
JV lost 35-36. Bryce Frank led with 12 points and 5 rebounds, Johnny Rozeboom with 8 points and Ben Witt with 7 points and 3 assists.
Varsity won 54-51. Jaden Frank had 21 points 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Brock Karbo had 10 points.
The Burke Cougars traveled Gregory on January 11. Burke lost the game 44-54.
Jaden Frank had 23 points, 3 assists and 3 steals to lead the effort for the Cougars. Bryce Frank had 9 points and Brock Karbo had 5 points and 4 rebounds.
