Cougars Compete at Wagner Tournament
Cougars Play Against Gregory Gorillas
The Middle School Boys' Basketball team traveled to Wagner on January 19. The A team played 3 games losing 2 and winning 1.
First, the A team faced the Wagner Raiders winning with a score of 31-16. Jaden Swan led in points with a total of 12, and Sawyer Tietgen followed scoring a total of 6 points.
Next, the A team played against the Avon Pirates losing with a score of 24-27. Nick Nelson led in scoring with a total of 14 points, and Jaden Swan followed with 6 points.
Lastly, the team faced the Scotland Highlanders losing with a final score of 4-9. Jay Wright and Jaden Swan each scored 2 points.
The Middle School Boys' Basketball teams traveled to Gregory on January 22 to face the Gorillas.
In the B Team game, the team lost with a final score of 7-38. Cody Williams scored 3 points along with Terrance Roubideaux and Quintin Bull each scoring 2 points.
In the A Team game, the team lost with a score of 24-45. Jay Wright and Nick Nelson each scored 6 points, along with Ira Burroughs and Reed Benter each scoring 4.

Cougars Participate in Colome Tournament
The Middle School Boys' A team traveled to Colome on January 26 to compete in the tournament.
First, they played against Gregory losing 19-37. Jay Wright led with 7 points and Nick Nelson followed with 6 points.
Next, they competed against Marty also losing 24-48. Jaden Swan scored a total of 8 points, and Nick Nelson added 7 points.
Lastly, they faced North Central losing 9-26. Bryce Bartling, Jaden Swan, and Nick Nelson scored 3 points each.
Cougars Face Cowboys
The Middle School Boys' Basketball Team traveled to Colome on January 28 to compete against the Cowboys.
The B team won with a score of 12-10. Reed Benter and Bryce Bartling each scored 4 points.
The A team lost with a score of 23-33. Nick Nelson scored 8 points and Jay Wright followed scoring 6 points.
