B/G Storm Compete in McCook Central Montrose Tournament

The B/G Storm traveled to Salem to compete in the McCook Central Montrose tournament December 22. The Storm received 3rd as a team in the tournament.
In weight class 113 was Kort Schonebaum, but he lost two matches. For weight class 120 was Mason Peck, and he lost two matches as well. Mason Hood received 8th place in weight class 126 by winning two out of five of his matches.
Gunnar Stephens wrestled 145, but he lost two matches. In weight class 152 is Dimitri Davis, who won one out of three matches. In weight class 160, Tucker Even placed 8th by winning two out of his five matches, and Finn Hanson placed 5th by winning four out of his six matches. Taron Serr wrestled in the 182 weight class, but lost two matches.
B/G Storm Place First in Miller Tournament

The B/G Storm competed in the Miller Tournament January 5, and won first as a team. Wrestling at 113, Kort Schonebaum won one out of two matches. In the 120 weight class, Mason Peck lost two matches.
In the 126 weight class, Mason Hood placed 4th by winning three out of five matches. Tucker even also placed 4th by winning three out of five matches in the 160 weight class. Also wrestling at 160 was Dimitri Davis who lost two matches, and Finn Hanson who placed 2nd by winning three out of four matches.
Frank Even also placed 2nd by winning three out of four matches in the 152 weight class. Gunnar Stephens placed 8th in the 145 weight class by winning one out of four matches. Taron Serr wrestled at 182 and won one of three matches.
Burke/Gregory Storm Compete Against Chamberlain Cubs

The Burke/Gregory Storm traveled to Chamberlain to compete against the Cubs January 8. Wrestling at 113, Kort Schonebaum lost to Max Donovan with a fall time of 1:03. Wrestling at 126, Mason Hood lost to Collin Powell with a fall time of 2:58.
In the 152 weight class, Frank Even pinned Noah Hutmacher with a fall time of 1:05. In the 160 weight class, Finn Hanson lost by major decision to Remington Rossow with a score of 4-16.
Taron Serr wrestled in the 182 weight class, but lost to Jasiah Thompson with a fall time of 2:33. The B/G storm fell short of winning as a team with a final score of 37-38.
