The Cougars traveled to Mount Marty College in Yankton on February 16 to play in the Great Plains Conference Classic. They were matched up with the Avon Pirates. The Cougars won 62-32.
Tyson Mayer had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals. Jaden Frank had 14 points, and 4 assists. Brock Karbo had 10 points.

The Cougars hosted the Avon Pirates on February 22. Burke came out on top 72-41.
Jaden Frank had 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Tyson Mayer had 10 points and 6 assists. Ben Witt had 10 points and pulled down 4 rebounds. Brock Karbo added 9 points to the game.
This was the last regular season game, leaving the Cougars with a 7-13 record for the season.
The Burke Cougars hosted the Scotland Highlanders for first round of Regions on February 25. The Cougars won with a score of 72-53 and will advance to the second round.
Jaden Frank put up 24 points. Tyson Mayer added 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Ben Witt added 9 points and 3 rebounds. Washake Vaughn had 8 points and Brock Karbo pulled down 3 rebounds.
The Cougars advance and will play the Colome Cowboys.
