The Burke FCCLA chapter encouraged students to participate in National Stop the Violence month by signing an "I Pledge to Stop the Violence" sign hung up in the high school and elementary. By participating in this, the students were encouraged to sign the poster and pledge to Stop the Violence.
The FCCLA members have also decorated the main entrance in the high school with Christmas lights and a Christmas tree.

Student Council Organizes Holiday Dress Up Days
The Burke Student Council Members organized a Christmas Dress Up week.
The days were:
Monday - Ugly Sweater day
Tuesday - Christmas Pajama day
Wednesday - Christmas Hat/Sock Day
Thursday - Christmas movie character day.
