FCCLA Head to State
The Burke FCCLA chapter competed at the State FCCLA Conference on March 31 through April 2. The conference was held in Sioux Falls.
It was a great conference and the Burke Chapter is sending Emily Stukel, Kellie Jones, and Samantha Bull to California to compete at the National level in July.
There were many workshops that students could participate in. Frank Even was the State Vice President of Membership.
"State is always very fun. It is a very good chance to meet new people. At the workshops they provide, you learn a whole bunch of information from them. It is also a very rewarding experience after you are done presenting, and you get to find out how you did," said Kellie Jones.
