Lady Cougars Play Against Lady Spartans

The Middle School Girls' Basketball team traveled to Boyd County in Nebraska to compete against the Lady Spartans. The game was held at Spencer on November 13. The 6th and 7th grade team played first and defeated the Lady Spartans in just two quarters, with a final score of 14-2.
The 7th and 8th grade team lost with a score of 28-44. Leading the Cougar team was Bridget Bartling with 11 points scored, as well as Savannah Geaghan rebounding 3 shots. The Lady Cougars had a 26% shot success rate.
Lady Cougars Compete Against Gregory Gorillas

The Lady Cougars hosted a game against the Gregory Gorillas November 19. The 7th grade team lost to Gregory with a score of 16-25. Leading in points for the Lady Cougars were Cecily Geaghan with 6 and Piper Hanson with 4.
The 8th grade team fell short to Gregory with of score of 23-29. The score was led by Adisyn Indahl with 8 and Savannah Geaghan with 7.
Lady Cougars Defeat Platte-Geddes

The Lady Cougars hosted a game against the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers on November 26. The 8th grade team won with a score of 42-20. Leading the score for the Lady Cougars were Elly Witt with 20, and Bridget Bartling with 6.
Lady Cougars Travel to Gregory

The Lady Cougars traveled to Gregory to play against the the Gregory Gorillas on November 27. The 7th grade team lost to Gregory 19-36. Laney Spencer scored 8 points for Burke. The 7th grade team will continue their season with a record of 6-4.
The 8th grade team lost to Gregory 37-45. Leading in points was Bridget Bartling with 17, Adisyn Indahl with 6, Elly Witt with 6, and Brecken Bolander with 5. The 8th grade team will continue the season with a record of 3-6.
