Lady Cougars Kill it in the SoDak16

The Lady Cougars played AC/DC for the Region volleyball game in Bonesteel on November 1. The Lady Cougars came out on top in 3 sets. The first set was 25-12, second set was 25-10, and the third set was 25-4.
For aces, Lahna Matucha and Lainee Schonebaum both had 5 aces each. Taylee Indahl led the game with 16 kills, and Brecken Bartling had 7. Bobbi Jo Wischmann had 26 assists.
The Lady Cougars will advance to the SoDak16 next to play Philip.
The Lady Cougar volleyball team traveled to Stanley County on November 6 to play in the SoDak16 against Philip. This game would advance them to the State Tournament if they won. The Cougars dominated Philip in 4 sets.
The first set was 17-25 with Philip winning; second set was 25-17, third set was 25-19, and the fourth set was 25-17 with Burke advancing to the State Tournament in Sioux Falls.
Taylee Indahl led aces with 5, and Lainee Schonebaum had 3. Taylee Indahl had 17 kills, Lahna Matucha had 13, and Sierra Swan had 6 kills. For blocks, Taylee Indahl had 2. Bobbi Jo Wischmann led assists with 30, and Sally Hakin had 6.
