TEACHING AND LEARNING IN THE ARTS Rules of Engagement: Activating Student Learning Structured and scaffolded lessons are key to engaging students in high-quality active learning. Ensuring student engagement requires careful planning of activities that not only ask them to complete a task, but also help them to understand and reflect upon what they are doing, and why. In order to continuously improve, consistent and meaningful evaluation of internal capacity and programs is a must. By continually analyzing data, organizations can reflect on the efficacy of their vision for quality and adapt accordingly. Who Should Attend?
