Section 720 – Quilt Block Challenge Contest 72001 9.5 inch Quilt Block ( 9 inch finished ) – Completed blocks will be judged , as well as voted on by fair guests . Winner ( s ) will be posted in the Textiles Department on Saturday , after 5:00 p . m . Fabric kits can be purchased at the fair office for $ 5.00 . Completed blocks will be displayed during the 2016 Woodbury County Fair . NO EMBELLISHMENTS . Quilt will be completed and displayed at the 2017 WCF and auctioned off on Sunday during the Chainsaw Sculpture Auction .
Section 900 – HANDMADE DOLLS OPEN CLASS DEPARTMENT
Contact : Sam Thomas – ( 712 ) 870-1237 Create a doll from materials that would be consistent with the ones created in the early 1900s . Exhibitors must have a season pass & check their entries in at the Open Class Building from 12:00 p . m . – 7 p . m ., Monday , July 31st . Entries will be exhibited in the ‘ Old Glory Dance Hall ’ in Old Town during the fair . All entries must remain in place until Sunday , August 6th at 4:00 p . m . Divisions are as follows : 901 ADD – Corn Husk Dolls 904 ADD – Cloth Dolls 902 ADD – Paper Dolls 905 ADD- Other 903 ADD – Yarn Dolls

2017 HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR EXHIBITION OF LIVESTOCK , POULTRY AND BIRDS AT A COUNTY 4H / FFA FAIR EXHIBITION The Iowa 4-H Livestock website will have the 2016 health requirements for state , district and county : http :// www . extension . iastate . edu / 4h / projects / livestock - below are the County Health Requirements .
ANY EVIDENCE OF WARTS , RINGWORM , FOOT ROT , PINKEYE , DRAINING ABSCESSES OR ANY OTHER CONTAGIOUS OR INFECTIOUS CONDITION WILL ELIMINATE THE ANIMAL FROM THE SHOW .
No individual Certificate of Veterinary Inspection will be required on Iowa origin animals or poultry exhibited at County 4-H / FFA FAIR , but the animals must be inspected when unloaded or shortly thereafter by an accredited veterinarian . All animals moving from out of state into an Iowa county 4H / FFA fair must meet Iowa Animal and Livestock Importation requirements . Each show must have an official veterinarian .
Quarantined animals or animals from quarantined herds cannot be exhibited .
Official identification listed on a Certificate of Veterinary Inspect ion required for all cattle and bison of any age coming in from out of state used for rodeos , recreational events , shows and exhibitions .
