Alberta Moose Hunt # 29 This hunt takes place in northern Alberta , a couple of hours drive north of Edmonton . These are “ farmland ” moose . Lots of them , most will be in the 30-45 inch range , some better ( residents have just been put on quota , so the quality is getting better every year . Small outfitter taking only a handful of hunters a year . Hunters stay right in the outfitters home , which is in Athabaska . Hunts are 4x4 and ATV transport . Virtually 100 % successful . A great opportunity to fill the freezer . Hunts are 2x1 guided . Meals , lodging , guiding , and airport pickup are all included . Liences and GST are additional .
