Doug Casebeer
Associate Director ; Artistic Director , Ceramics ; Chair of Artists-in-Residence Program Doug is in his 32nd year of conducting workshops at the Ranch . He received his M . F . A . in ceramics from Alfred University and his B . F . A . from Wichita State University . Doug ’ s service to the field has involved outreach in rural Jamaican schools , technical support and assistance for Nepali potters , and advising art centers in Chile and Hawai ' i . His artwork is in collections around the world , including a permanent installation in 2007 at the Yingge Museum of Ceramics in Taiwan . In 2009 , Doug was elected to the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva , Switzerland , and was a featured artist at the Chinese Academy of Fine Art in Beijing . Jose Ferreira
Artistic Director , Sculpture ; Chair of Gallery Program Originally from Mozambique , Jose studied Fine Art at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa . Prior to the Ranch , he was a Research Fellow in Fine Art Digital Media at the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom , and Assistant Professor of Sculpture at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago . He co-initiated the Trinity Session , an organization that develops and curates projects in collaboration with artists and institutions . Elizabeth Ferrill
Artistic Director , Painting , Drawing & Printmaking ; Chair of Visiting Artists Program Elizabeth received her M . F . A . from the Rhode Island School of Design . She has had solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally , including Aspen , Colo .; Nashville , Tenn .; Omaha , Neb ., and Berlin , Germany . Elizabeth has been an artist-in-residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha , Neb . Her work is in the collection of the RISD Museum and Brown University Library . Andrea Wallace
Artistic Director , Photography & New Media ; Chair of Advanced Mentored Studies and the Workshop Program Andrea received her M . F . A . from the University of Colorado , Boulder . Before coming to the Ranch , she taught as an Assistant Professor at Lake Forest College and Willamette University . She exhibits nationally and internationally with numerous shows throughout the Americas , Europe , China and the Middle East . Andrea has received numerous awards and grants for her work .
