2017 Recognition Dinner
Every year , Anderson Ranch honors the outstanding accomplishments of artists , philanthropists and community leaders with its National Artist Award and the Service to the Arts Award . Recent National Artist Award recipients include Carrie Mae Weems ( 2016 ), Frank Stella ( 2015 ) and Theaster Gates ( 2014 ). Recent Service to the Arts Award recipients include Eleanore and Domenico De Sole ( 2016 ), Jennifer and David Stockman ( 2015 ) and Debra and Dennis Scholl ( 2014 ).
The 21st annual Recognition Dinner will be held on Thursday , July 20 , 2017 . Proceeds support the Ranch ’ s artistic programs . Contact Hailey Walsh at 970-923-3181 x 227 with questions regarding ticket sales .
2017 Annual Art Auction & Community Picnic
The Annual Art Auction is Anderson Ranch ’ s largest community fundraiser of the year and a festive highlight of the summer season ! Held at the historic Ranch , the event welcomes art lovers of all ages to the campus . Over 200 works of art are available in live and silent auctions . Donated by artists , collectors and galleries , much of the work was made at the Ranch or produced specifically for this event . Enjoy live music , art activities for children and a delicious picnic lunch prepared by the Ranch Café .
