Requirement​s : ​ ​Members​ ​should​ ​attend , ​ ​to​ ​the​ ​best​ ​of​ ​their​ ​ability , ​ ​all​ ​meetings​ ​and​ ​complete​ ​all​ ​club​ ​projects . Goals​ ​ & ​ ​Objectives​ : ​ ​We​ ​seek​ ​to​ ​build​ ​a​ ​greater​ ​awareness​ ​about​ ​how​ ​art​ ​enhances​ ​individual​ ​and​ ​community​ ​life , ​ ​serve our​ ​community , ​ ​and​ ​have​ ​fun . ASTRONOMY​ ​CLUB Moderator : ​ ​Mr . ​ ​Strubbe Requirements : ​ Members​ ​expected​ ​to​ ​attend​ ​most​ ​of​ ​the​ ​monthly​ ​meetings​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Cincinnati​ ​Observatory​ ​Center , ​ ​and are​ ​encouraged​ ​to​ ​attend​ ​organizational​ ​meeting​ ​during​ ​club​ ​lunch​ ​bell . ​ ​No​ ​science​ ​background​ ​is​ ​required . Goals​ ​ & ​ ​Objectives : ​ Explore​ ​the​ ​universe​ ​using​ ​telescopes , ​ ​learn​ ​what ’ s​ ​new​ ​in​ ​space , ​ ​and​ ​meet​ ​others​ ​with​ ​similar interests . ​ ​Members​ ​often​ ​have​ ​individual​ ​interests , ​ ​such​ ​as​ ​learning​ ​how​ ​to​ ​use​ ​the​ ​big​ ​telescopes​ ​at​ ​the​ ​observatory , researching​ ​planets , ​ ​solar​ ​viewing , ​ ​looking​ ​back​ ​in​ ​time​ ​at​ ​nebulae , ​ ​star​ ​clusters​ ​and​ ​galaxies . ​ ​This​ ​is​ ​not​ ​a​ ​class​ ​and​ ​has a​ ​social​ ​club​ ​atmosphere . F . ​ ​BEST​ ​FOOT​ ​FORWARD​ ​ ( LIFE​ ​SKILLS ) Moderator : ​ ​Kramer Eligibility : ​ ​Juniors​ ​or​ ​Seniors Requirements : Goals​ ​ & ​ ​Objectives : ​ ​Introduce​ ​students​ ​to​ ​subjects​ ​that​ ​are​ ​not​ ​taught​ ​in​ ​school​ ​but​ ​are​ ​essential​ ​for​ ​success​ ​in adulthood . ​ ​ ​Students​ ​will​ ​learn​ ​important​ ​life​ ​skills​ ​to​ ​include​ ​but​ ​not​ ​limited​ ​to​ ​business​ ​etiquette , ​ ​how​ ​to fundraise / start​ ​service​ ​projects , ​ ​household​ ​skills , ​ ​and​ ​managing​ ​finances . ​ ​ ​Through​ ​involvement​ ​in​ ​this​ ​club , ​ ​students​ ​will be​ ​more​ ​aware​ ​of​ ​ “ the​ ​real​ ​world ” ​ ​and​ ​will​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​engage​ ​in​ ​mature​ ​discussion . Requirements : ​ ​Attending​ ​meetings​ ​on​ ​SO3​ ​days​ ​as​ ​well​ ​as​ ​meetings​ ​to​ ​help​ ​plan​ ​and​ ​implement​ ​Masses , ​ ​prayer services , ​ ​and​ ​Campus​ ​Ministry​ ​events .
