ROBOTICS CLUB Moderator : Mr . Porter Criteria : All grades can join and no skills are needed . We will help you with what you need to know to get you started in building and programming your creations . Requirements : Each student will come up with her own goal ( building a scratch robot , learning a new programming language , becoming involved in a robotics competition , etc .) and then work to complete that goal during the year . Goals can change during the year as you learn more and try new things . Goals & Objectives : To design , create , program and explore robotics with the goal of eventually creating a robotics team . Outside of School Activities : Meeting dates will vary and will be determined based on interest and students ’ schedules so as many people can become involved as possible . ROMANS 101 Moderator : Ms . Hammond Eligibility : This club is for students interested in learning about and celebrating all things Latin and Ancient Rome . No enrollment in Latin is required . Requirements : Attendance is mandatory at meetings , during which we have fun , organize social or service activities , and discuss all things Classic . To maintain active membership , members must attend meetings , attend at least one social event , and attend at least one service event . Goals & Objectives : To promote knowledge of the classics and build a community among students of the classics and students interested in classics at SUA . Outside / After school activities : Social events ( i . e . themed parties , picnics , and outings ); service events ( i . e . volunteer with local agencies , participate in make a difference day with Ohio JCL ). SAINT URSULA PLAYERS ( SUP ) Moderator : Ms . Hinkel Eligibility : Saint Ursula Players is an organization for individuals who share a love for all aspects of theatre . Students can participate in fun theatre-centered events all year while supporting the Saint Ursula Academy Theatre Department & the Cincinnati Theatre Community . Students of any grade level or level of theatrical experience are encouraged to join . Requirements : Attend club sponsored activities and meetings . Display a love and respect for the performing arts . You DO NOT have to join this club to participate in a Theatre Department production . Goals & Objectives : To foster an in-depth appreciation of all things theatrical as well as to promote the performing arts in the St . Ursula community & beyond . Outside School Activities : Students can be involved in a variety of theatrical events including workshops , showcases , movie nights , trivia nights , cabaret nights , outside productions & some performance community service . SCIENCE OLYMPIAD Moderator : Mr . Vogel Eligibility : All SUA girls are welcome Goals / Objectives : Science Olympiad is a fun club for girls with an interest in the sciences . We do various experiments during every meeting that helps expand our knowledge in this subject . If you want to learn more about any scientific topic then this is the club for you !
