Providing leadership and promoting excellence in science education
Our office staff included Visnja Aw as our events, communication and membership manager. Visnja has
continued to demonstrate loyalty and outstanding expertise in her management of our many events,
membership data and generally keeping us all on track. In 2017 she was well supported by Shay Deen as
part time administration assistant and Anne Muggleton as our bookkeeper who very ably helped us
maintain sound financial records.
There were many universities and both teachers and academics who supported teachers in 2017.
Without their willingness to share their learning and open dialogue about our practice, we could not reflect
on the ways of teaching science in order to improve our student learning.
