Waterparks
Soak City Waterpark is included with your admission to Valleyfair . SandVenture Aquatic Park has a unique , chlorinated pool that offers a sand beach leading out to a sand-bottom .
Huber Park Performance & Event Series
Located along the Minnesota River in historic Downtown , it has free , family-friendly events during the summer .
Scott County Fair
Dubbed the “ 5 Best Days of Summer ”, the fair features live acts , farm animals , carnival rides and traditional fair food .
The Great Midwest Rib Fest
This free outdoor , family-friendly event at Mystic Lake Casino showcases the nation ’ s top rib cookers .
Rock and Rockets
Come to Mystic Lake Casino during the 4th of July and enjoy a free , all-ages event which includes live music , food trucks , and a musically-choreographed fireworks show .
Shockwaves Water Ski Events
Beginning late June and running most Thursday evenings throughout the summer , see a fun , free water ski show put on by the Shakopee – Prior Lake Water Ski Association ( Shockwaves ).
Wacipi Pow Wow
The Wacipi celebration of life , in August , is a social celebration of dancing , singing and visiting . Visitors are welcome .
