The Drinking Post Waterer
is the original non-electric, frost-free automatic waterer. Field
tested and proven for over 35 years, it will save you time, money and provides 50° F water year round.

is always available at 50° F. This means
better water consumption year round. All
your horse must do is press their nose to
the paddle and the bowl fills with water.
When finished, the unused water drains
from the bowl.
The technology is simple – it works like a
frost-free hydrant. The water supply line
is buried beneath the frost line. When the
paddle is depressed a valve opens and the
water pressure in the line forces water into
the bowl. After the horse is done, gravity
drains the leftover water below the frost
line. With no water in the bowl or in the
lines, there is nothing to freeze – therefore
no electricity is needed.
Upon final installation Drinking Bowl
(interior unit) should be recessed down
inside the 8" Protective Sleeve
approximately 3/4"
