Where Eric Garner "can't breathe"
And some citizens just can't believe,
that he would put that officer's life in danger.
But hey, this is America
Where divide and conquer is the name of the game
Where our politicians, our "leaders," are never prepared to take the blame
This is America
Where our people are more concerned with when the next jays will drop
than when the next bomb will
So welcome to America
Where a patient cured is a customer lost
And we can have an unborn child murdered for little to no cost
But this is America,
Land of the Free
Home to the largest prison population known to date
Because without our government, who else would be there to...regulate
The un-taxed use of nature and her resources?
Because who else would keep up and running our fear-based news sources?
America, The Great?
I think it's time we reevaluate.
