I HAVE A DREAM TODAY! - ISAIAH WASHINGTON

I have a dream that one day little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream that women can walk the streets with their heads up high without being shot down with abusive language or strike with fists. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream where all religions can coexist and their followers will use their faith to light up the world with peace and love. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream where young black men can wear hoodies, listen to their music, and walk in the streets and not be shot just because. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream where mothers and fathers can go to sleep at night knowing that their handsome sons and beautiful daughters aren’t caught up in the streets with drugs, underage sex, gangs and violence. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream where all nationalities can achieve their dreams. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream that people with mental illness and depression can get the medical attention they need. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I have a dream where politicians can stop disagreeing and start resolving problems and concerns to make our nation better. I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

I HAVE A DREAM TODAY! THIS IS MY DREAM EVERYDAY!

Let Freedom Ring from the skyscrapers in New York.

Let Freedom Ring from the courthouses in Baltimore.

Let Freedom Ring from the casinos on the Las Vegas strip.

Let Freedom Ring from Congress in Washington, DC.

Let Freedom Ring from ALL nations.

Let all people from all backgrounds, races, religions, orientations and pigmentations join hands and sing the words of the Negro spiritual: Free At Last! Free At Last! Thank God Almighty, we are FREE AT LAST!
