S.S. Sicamous Heritage Park- 1099 Lakeshore Dr W, Penticton

Visit this historic sternwheeler on the West end of Okanagan Beach. Once a luxury passenger vessel, this ship turned museum offers an interesting look at Penticton’s past. The S.S. Sicamous is the largest sternwheeler left in Canada. It is also a classic landmark in Penticton and an excellent reference point for getting your bearings on the race courses!

Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park- Smythe Dr, Penticton

If you’re eager to explore some of the beautiful outdoors Penticton has to offer

then head up to Skaha Bluffs for some hiking, dog walking or rock climbing. See the City of Penticton from above with the stunning hilltop views. From this vantage point you’ll be able to scout out the entire Long Distance Triathlon Bike course.

Penticton River Channel- 215 Riverside Dr, Penticton

Take a day to relax with the family floating down the lazy river that connects Okanagan Lake to Skaha Lake on the opposite end of town. Coyote Cruises rents tubes and offers shuttle services from the river’s halfway point and the end point back to the top. Pack the sunscreen, a water bottle and some snacks for the ride.
