LIFE ON THE WATER
With over 70,000 lakes and rivers in Sunset Country, being
out on the lake is a way of life. The fishing is phenomenal and
rarely is it crowded at your favourite fishing hole. The lakes
can be explored in many different ways via houseboat, mo-
torboat, pontoon boat, canoe or kayak or the newest craze
- the stand-up paddle board. The lakes range from crystal
clear deep trout lakes to tea stained walleye lakes to remote
fly-in only lakes.

Head out onto the lake and within minutes you’ll feel at
peace and in awe all at the same time. The beauty of the Ca-
nadian Shield and Boreal Forest that line the lakes can take
your breath away. Pull up to a secluded beach, see a waterfall
or catch a glimpse of a bear or moose along the shore. As
you head back after a day on the lake with the sunset as your
backdrop, you’ll wonder if you are in fact, in paradise.
