WEANLINGS Weanlings are exempt from required qualifying points to show in any class during the World Show . Be sure your weanling is registered before the close of entry ( June 25 , 2017 postmark )
Weanling Sweepstakes- Show your weanling for a chance to win $ at the 2017 World Show Futurity ! Entry forms are available online in the World Show Premium .
STOCK HORSE DIVISION No qualifying is necessary for the Stock Horse classes and there are 8 of them offered : Youth : Mares and Geldings , Amateur : Mares , Geldings and Stallions and Open : Mares , Geldings and Stallions . This is your chance to get your Stock Type horses “ out there ” and enjoy some Texas competition .
Wine and Cheese Tasting - To Benefit Amateurs Come to a World Show Wine and Cheese tasting event held on Wednesday evening , August 30th . Be on hand for the great prizes that will be drawn for throughout the evening . Represent your Farm , State or Locality by donating wine or cheese to this classic affair- contact Susan Stuart slazar @ flash . net or Marilyn Myers meyerandm @ gmail . com . All donations go towards awards and activities for the Amateurs .
Local Clubs to be Featured during WORLDS Local and International Clubs will be honored during the World Show by the announcer . We ask that all Local and International Club Presidents verify the club ’ s information is correct on the AMHA website . Clubs should also send in additional information regarding club accomplishments or activities that you would like announced during the show ( in addition to name and location ). Everyone is welcome to the Dessert Bar to be held on Tuesday , August 29th ( held just outside the arena entry gate ) in the late afternoon / early evening . Anyone wishing to contribute contact Susan Stuart slazar @ flash . net
