Editors Note

Fall is here and the promise of winter is not far behind. With show season coming to an end many Minis and their owners look forward to a much needed break. It is easy to envision the joy of watching a World Champion cropping grass on the lawn, the sun shining on their still glossy coats. But alas, it won't be long until fuzz, and then long hair will take it's rightful place.

In this issue we're sharing just a sample of the 2017 World Show memories. There will be lots more in the upcoming WINTER print issue. For many exhibitors, not just the winners, this was a fantastic show. More than once someone remarked to me they enjoyed the show so much, they were for certain coming back again next year.

Indeed, there is much to look forward to and be thankful for. As I watch my mare grow larger each week, my anticipation for spring grows as well. I plan to enjoy the next few months of expectancy, wondering what surprise color is incubating on this filly or colt that I will love at first sight. I know many of you are expecting the same and are ready to endure the sleepless nights of foal watch right along with me.

Remember, the upcoming WINTER issue will feature all the World Show results, Top Ten in every class can be pictured for just $25. And who wouldn't want to see their horse in the Miniature Horse World?
