Everyone Wins When the Energy Masters Turtles and The Shoreview Pediatrics Robins Take the Field
The MHC Mighty Mini Mites showed great skill during their game on Sunday. After Coach Lindy, Coach Aaron and Ty’s dad Jeff got the official goals up, the Energy Masters Turquoise Turtles and the Shoreview Pediatrics Red Cardinals took the field for their second match of the season. Tough defensive battles were the theme of the game. The brothers McCarville were tag-teaming with great defensive strategy for Shoreview Pediatrics. Their fierce opponents, Joellyn and Delia, were too fierce to keep from scoring goals as they fought hard for Energy Masters. On the other side of the field, it was a brilliant dribbling and passing by Mira that ultimately kept the Cardinals in the game. This brilliant play inspired teammate Amelia to double her efforts to keep control of the sliotar for Shoreview.The true all-star of the day was rookie Ty Hansen who was working tirelessly for his team at every position he played. In the end, as Coach Cecilia reminded her players, the score at the whistle doesn’t matter. We are all winners in U7 because we all fought hard and tried our best.
