Sacred signs are what Spirit puts on your path to guide you . You can ask for a sign and then go about your day and wait for the sign to appear in whichever way Spirit brings it . I ask Spirit to give me specific signs , within a specified time , to represent choices or decisions . I designate one sign for ‘ yes ’ or a specific course of action , and another for ‘ no ’ or other action .

You can ask for signs to appear within any timeframe ; I have asked to be shown a sacred sign within twelve hours , or by the time my family gets home from work , by the end of the week etc . Although I haven ’ t always found it necessary , you can ask for your sacred signs to be shown at least three times . If it resonates with you to do this , then by all means do so .

You can also ask for a personal sign . Whenever I see a bunch of multicoloured balloons , I know I ’ ve made a strong decision . The trick is to have a sign that is rare so when it does appear , you know you ’ re being shown the direction that ’ s right for you .

You could begin by saying : ‘ Angels , guides , enlightened beings , I ask for a sacred sign .’
