Ecuador
For some time, ABBA was limited to Peru. But that was about to change. Pastor Jimmy Rameriz from
Guayaquil, Ecuador attended the ABBA conference in Lima. Encouraged by what he saw, he wanted
to join the ABBA team, and hold their first an ABBA conference of their own in 2018 along the other
youth conferences.
Ecuador is a predominately Roman Catholic nation but the younger generations are turning towards
atheistic beliefs and culture. Churches are losing the next generation and many have no answer to this
dilemma. But ABBA brings God’s hope for the youth.

Orphanages
By the end of the 2017 ABBA conferences, over 7,300 youth from 17 different regions gathered in
worship and praise. At the end of September, the coordinators and facilitators gathered in prayer to
prepare themselves for the future. And there is good news.
Four new pastors were there representing regions that will have their own ABBA youth conferences.
Pastor Homer Flores from Tarapoto, pastor Américo Becerra from Bagua, pastor Hector Valdivia
from Andahuaylas, and pastor Saul Inga from Huanuco. Join us in prayer as the now twenty one
regions gather to lift up the name of God!
One of the God-sized mission He has placed unto our hearts is the sponsorship of a hundred
orphanages. The main mission statement of HHK WMC is to bring 150,000 needy children to Christ.
One of the main groups of children that are often overlooked are orphans. They come from broken
homes and differing family relationships so often times, orphans come with sensitive hearts. But we
know the love of God can restore any heart, no matter the damage.
