GAC Corporate Academy
The Specialised courses in our portfolio provide ongoing learning opportunities for specific roles within GAC.
GCA Liaison Officers (GLOs) are GCA’s network into every GAC Operating Company. GLOs play a very significant
role in their respective offices of analysing and compiling learning and development requirements for their staff.
They communicate this requirement with the company manager to seek their final approval to deploy the learning
pathways. The GLO course supports the continual learning and integration of these roles into the standardised
ISO 29990 processes of the GCA team. The IOSH Managing Safely (IMS) course meanwhile, provides a highly
specialised level of certified training for HSSE Representatives and line managers throughout the GAC Group.
GCA Liaison Officer (GLO)
The GCA Liaison Officer (GLO) course is designed to support the GCA Liaison Officers in their role as the
critical link between GCA and the rest of the GAC World. The course will assist GLOs to gain a complete
understanding of the GLO role, as well as supporting Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives in GAC
Operating Companies. Participants will gain skills in L&D processes, creating awareness and supporting
the progress of participants to achieve effective L&D outcomes in line with GAC TIME CSF5.
