My family members never achieved
the dream of becoming who they want
to be. College will open up new

Although America is a cultural center, you don't see

what was available to my parents. Attending college will allow me to

people's lives better through
technology.

Getting a college degree will allow
me to inspire others from my
community. I want to show young
people that they too can be
successful in college.
Realizing an education is not a
given makes me treasure my
opportunity to learn even more. "You
can lose your possessions, but
knowledge stays with you,” my parents say.

Attending college will allow me to
obtain more knowledge and give
me the clarity to always be able to
ponder, question, and challenge what I
am looking at.
I want to find a way to reduce the
inequality and inequity of our
world. I want to advocate for
humane and just treatment for those
who are vulnerable.
