The National Cancer Institute (NCI) promotes
access to clinical trials in community settings
and academic centers. As a member of the NCI
Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP),
administered by the Nevada Cancer Foundation in
Las Vegas, we are dedicated to enrolling patients
in clinical trials as a best practice.
In 2017, our program focused on increasing access
to clinical trials through improved processes and
the support of the Renown Central Office of
Research and Education. This focus brought clinical
trials to over 110 people, compared to 34 in 2016.
Our program offers more than 50 cancer and
tumor genomics (also known as Personalized
Medicine) trials, both through NCORP and the
