HOUSING 101 In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the residence halls offer 26 room types. From Themed Communities and Living Communities (where students are connected to an academic college, department, or theme), to our most common room type, the Triple (a shared bedroom and bathroom with three other students) there are plenty of options to choose from when applying to live on campus. For more information, visit housing.utah.edu. The service and information desks are community hubs in housing. The dining options, pool tables, mail room, and 24-hour convenience stores are housed in the Peterson Heritage Center, Marriott Honors Community, and Lassonde Studios. In the mood for board games? Need a test prep book or lost your key? No problem. Check them out at the front desk. Campus shuttles provide safe and convenient transportation to and from classes and events, while the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) provides the same to downtown SLC and seven world-class ski resorts.
