LOCAL CAR SHOWS ARE CLASSIC
Grass Valley
Car Show
“CRUISIN’ THE PINES:” September 9 & 10,
Saturday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Sunday 8:00
am–1:00 pm. Held at the Nevada County
Fairgrounds, McCourtney Road. Largest classic car
show in Northern California with over 700 cars.
Show features pre-1972 American made cars.
Pre-1972 classic foreign cars and vintage trailers
will also be on display. Activities for kids/families,
car art and Outlaw Go Carts. Sponsored by local
car club the Roamin Angels.
A special attraction will be multi-award winning
Deuce of Spades. The star of the movie is a 1932
Ford roadster. Film maker Faith Granger will
display the car and talk about the movie…a story
in itself. Saturday 9:00 am–3:00 pm.

HIGH SIERRA CLASSIC CAR SHOW: October 14,
8:00 am–8:00 pm, Truckee Regional Park, 10600
Brockway Rd. Features history and heritage.
Music, craft fair, food, vendors, live DJ. Sponsored

GRASS VALLEY CAR SHOW: First Saturday in May,
2018, 10:00 am–3:00 pm. Oldest car show in the
area takes over the town’s historic downtown
streets. Show features over 300 custom, vintage
and antique cars, and trucks. Enjoy rock ‘n’ roll
music as you stroll. Vendors, food, wine. A Grass
Valley Downtown Association event.

wine. Also a Kansas City Barbeque Society com-
petition with professional teams, as well as a
Backyard Barbeque contest for local teams.
